SUPPORT IN CALD LANGUAGES

Websites providing information in community languages about COVID-19, its seriousness and maintenance of hygiene that may be useful for your clients, colleagues, friends and family are:
- News and information about coronavirus (COVID-19) is available in 63 languages, including a translation of this fact sheet of FAQs
- You can also watch Coronavirus videos explained in 16 languages
- Ethnolink (46 languages – they’ve compiled information under languages, released by various Australian government health departments)
- Victoria Department of Health (Reduce your risk posters in 48 languages; audio public service announcements in some languages; handwashing posters in some languages)
- NSW Health (FAQs in 7 languages, social distancing and hygiene messages in 20 languages)
- The Australia Department of Health has more in-depth and tailored information about people’s specific circumstances, in these 6 languages: Arabic, Vietnamese, Chinese, Farsi, Korean and Italian
- The WA Government website is the best place to find up-to-date and accurate advice and information including a list of resources about COVID-19 in languages other than English
As the pace of change is so fast, understandably some sources are more comprehensive than others. Sources include information about basic hygiene, handwashing. These things haven’t changed, however, make your own judgement. Everyone will have their own language needs, so here are the places to look:

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has a dedicated page for individuals and businesses looking to access support due to COVID-19. This includes:
